More goodies!
Two great engines, in rough shape. Great, because I can salvage most of them.
Too far gone. Such a shame, sea water.
Taking them apart. Unfortunately the jugs were toast!
The neglect was pretty bad.
Cleaning them up! There's potential here.
Dominic watched an auction. For days, and days. He obsessed. He went and saw the listings, out in Washington. He waited. He bid. He won! Two Liberty V-12 engines. Despite being in rough shape-he went into restoration mode. He's torn down one, and is cleaning, and salvaging everything he can. He's repairing what he can. Who else is going to save these wonderful old engines. Sure, there's a few folks out there that might!
He lives, and breathes these engines. It think it shows ;)
